How Changezilla works
Four steps of an exchange: choose a pair, enter the address, send the funds, follow the status. On the website or in Telegram.
Four steps
- Choose a pair. The coin and network you send and the coin and network you receive. The calculator shows the minimum and a preliminary estimate right away.
- Enter the address. The receiving address (and a memo/tag if the recipient needs one). The address is checked for format and checksum before the exchange is created. A refund address is optional: without it, an automatic refund is not possible and the funds can only be returned through support.
- Send the funds. To the deposit address issued for your exchange, strictly on the selected network, with the memo/tag if one is shown.
- Follow the status. The exchange starts once your transfer arrives and gets network confirmations; then the result is sent to your address.
On the website and in Telegram
- On the website the exchange is opened by a secret link — save it to return to the status. The page updates by itself while it is open.
- In Telegram the bot messages you about important status changes, and all your exchanges are in “My exchanges”.
Who performs the exchange
Changezilla passes your exchange to an external cryptocurrency exchange service and shows its status. The exchange is performed by that service at its rates and under its rules. Identity verification may be requested in some cases — see FAQ.
Rate and fees
The rate is floating: the final amount depends on the rate at the time your exchange is processed. The network fee for your own transfer is charged by your wallet or exchange and is not included in the estimate.
