Checklist before sending crypto
Seven checks before you press “Send”: coin, network, address, memo/tag, amount, network fee and the official website.
A blockchain transfer cannot be reversed. Spend a minute on these checks before every transfer.
- Coin. You are sending exactly the coin shown in the exchange (for example, USDT, not USDC).
- Network. The sending network in your wallet matches the network in the exchange (for example, TRON for USDT TRC20).
- Address. The deposit address is copied completely; compare the first and the last characters.
- Memo/tag. If the exchange shows a memo/tag for the deposit, it is included in the transfer.
- Amount. It is not below the minimum, and your wallet does not deduct the fee from it unexpectedly.
- Network fee. Your wallet has the native coin of the network to pay the fee (TRX, ETH, BNB, SOL, TON…).
- Official website. The address bar shows changezilla.online; in Telegram the bot is @Changezilla_bot.
Never share your seed phrase or private keys. They are not needed to make an exchange.
Terms in this guide
Deposit address
The address issued for your exchange to which you send the funds. Send exactly the coin and the network shown in your exchange, and do not use the address for new transfers after the exchange is finished.
Memo / tag
An extra identifier of a transfer used on networks such as TON, XRP Ledger, Stellar and Cosmos. Exchanges use it to credit deposits to the right account. If your exchange shows a memo/tag, the transfer must include it.
Seed phrase
A set of words (usually 12 or 24) that gives full control over a wallet. Anyone who knows it can take the funds. Never share it: an exchange does not need it.
