Protect your wallet
- Never share your seed phrase, private keys or wallet passwords — an exchange does not need them.
- Do not install apps or browser extensions at someone's request to “speed up” an exchange.
- Be careful with messages that promise a better rate or ask you to send funds to a different address.
Your exchange
- Changezilla does not hold your funds: you send to the address issued for your exchange and receive the result at your own address.
- The receiving address is checked for format and checksum before the exchange is created.
- A website exchange is opened by a secret link: keep it to yourself and do not publish it.
- Identity verification may be required: it is mandatory for users from some countries, and for unusual transactions or as the law requires.

Terms in this guide
Seed phrase
A set of words (usually 12 or 24) that gives full control over a wallet. Anyone who knows it can take the funds. Never share it: an exchange does not need it.
Custodial and own wallet
On a custodial wallet or exchange account the service holds the keys and processes withdrawals. In your own (non-custodial) wallet only you hold the keys. Changezilla does not hold your funds: you receive the result at your own address.
Identity verification (KYC)
Checking who the user is. It is not required by default; it may be requested if a transaction looks unusual, in cases of fraud reports or as the law requires, and it is mandatory for users from some countries.
