How to exchange USDT to TON
Exchange USDT (TRC20, ERC20, BEP20 or on TON) to Toncoin: choose the sending network, enter a TON address and a memo if your exchange needs one.
You can exchange USDT from different networks to Toncoin (TON). First check which network your USDT is on — the direction depends on it.
Choose the direction
- USDT on TRON: USDT TRC20 → TON
- USDT on Ethereum: USDT ERC20 → TON
- USDT on BNB Smart Chain: USDT BEP20 → TON
- USDT already on TON: USDT (TON) → TON
The TON address
TON addresses in user-friendly form usually start with UQ or EQ. If you receive TON to an exchange account, its deposit page usually also shows a memo (comment) — enter it, otherwise the exchange may not credit the deposit automatically. A personal wallet usually does not need a memo.
Sending USDT
To send USDT from your own wallet, it needs the native coin of the sending network to pay the fee: TRX on TRON, ETH on Ethereum, BNB on BNB Smart Chain. Send USDT only on the network shown in your exchange.

Terms in this guide
Memo / tag
An extra identifier of a transfer used on networks such as TON, XRP Ledger, Stellar and Cosmos. Exchanges use it to credit deposits to the right account. If your exchange shows a memo/tag, the transfer must include it.
Token standard (TRC20, ERC20, BEP20)
The rules a token follows on a particular network: TRC20 on TRON, ERC20 on Ethereum, BEP20 on BNB Smart Chain, SPL on Solana, jettons on TON. USDT TRC20 and USDT ERC20 have the same name but are different assets.
Network fee
A fee paid to the network for processing a transfer, in the native coin of the network: TRX, ETH, BNB, SOL, TON and others. The network fee for your own transfer is charged by your wallet or exchange and is not included in the estimate.
